This company seems to be cheating innocent people. My son ordered a bouquet for mother’s day.

The flowers had come packed in a box and when we opened it on 30.3.2019 we could tell on first glance that the flowers were not fresh and of poor quality. My son had saved up for a special surprise for his mum and was shattered when we saw the quality of the flowers. We contacted Prestige Flowers but they refused to give us a refund saying that their flowers are fresh and their manager doesn’t seem to find them of bad quality. Only later when I read reviews about this company it appears that they have been doing this to a lot of people and cheating innocent people.

They send out a standard email how to take care of the flowers and offer a £5.00 credit. They go this because they know very well that after having a bad experience with them no one is going to order again from them so in a way they win and don’t lose any money. On the contrary the customers are the losers. I have photos of the flowers the day it arrived and it doesn’t look worth even £10.00.

This company is cheating people and need to be stopped. It’s not about how much a person pays for a bouquet but this company is playing with people’s emotions. Someone expecting a beautiful for that special occasion should not get some rubbish and be treated this way. Prestige flowers have certainly spoilt our Mother’s Day and made my son feel very sad and disappointed that he couldn’t get a good gift for his mum.

The flowers on the high street seem to much fresher. They put up different picture in their website and like my son so many other people look at their website and think they are getting a beautiful bouquet. Only when the bouquet comes, people realise that they have been cheated by Prestige flowers and there’s nothing they can do about that once the flowers are already dispatched. This company knows that people cannot send the flowers back so they are continuing to cheat and fool innocent people.

There is no phone number on their website so no one can contact them.

After a while they stop corresponding on emails or messenger so there nothing more someone can do other than just think that they have been cheated and forget about the amount they spent on that bouquet. Could watchdog please investigate this company and stop them from this racket and fooling and cheating innocent people.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Why would you post such a small picture taken from a distance? Who could tell anything from that *** photo?? You just want a freebie.

Small picture or not. Those flowers are obviously garbage.

Not everyone wants a freebie. Especially not when something is that ***

Wow, those flowers look pretty sad. Your son sounds very sweet and conscientious though.

It is the thought in the end that counts, and his loss and frustration has helped lots of others avoid this dodgy place. Hope they go under for being such dirt bags. Hope Mother's Day was still a good one. Don't hold it against your son; he obviously loves his mum, and is sensible with his money.

Just some places lack professionalism. Clearly this place deserves to be criticized.

If they don't shape up, they'll close up. As it should be.

The pic can be easily enlarged on any device. The outer petals of the flowers are normally removed and the flowers are wired to stay perky and in form.

The arrangement is loose and appears to include both buds of roses and lilies as well as some rather limp and old looking greens. There are usually more filler flowers and greens, so unless the kid paid 25-30 dollars or euros, aka a supermarket bouquet, you'd expect a bit of effort on the part of the florist to make this look decent. In fact, my market bouquets look better than this, and cost a fraction of what he likely paid for delivery. Odds are that this arrangement got 'cooked' in a delivery vehicle, or the shop used low quality flowers.

To be sure, the outer petals weren't removed, and there are a lot of buds, old greens, and only one open flower in the shot. Probably representative of the bouquet's composition. Some shops fail to hire extra help for the holidays and this sort of slop is typical output from less professional/experienced establishments. I hardly think the mother is looking for a freebie, as you so basely remarked.

Maybe you work there? lol...would explain your 'perspective' on things.

My Sister in law ordered flowers & balloon for a 60th birthday, 5 days later and still not delivered. She even rang them on the day and they guaranteed they would be delivered!!!

No respect for their customers what's so ever. Now trying to get a refund of £59.28 or looking at taking them through the small claims court.

We have the same problem - I have been trying to call for 2 days now but they don't answer their phone and the reply I got was absolute rubbish and they had no interest in trying to resolve the issue! So frustrating - they should not be allowed to trade!
